Andrew Peddle

Board Member

Andrew Peddle is a professional engineer and construction management leader with deep roots in Nova Scotia. He lives in the beautiful Annapolis Valley with his wife, Katie Peddle, and their two children, Connor (12) and Abigail (10). Andrew is a registered Professional Engineer with Engineers Nova Scotia and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Dalhousie University.


Andrew currently serves as Site Manager with Defence Construction Canada in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, where he is responsible for overseeing site operations and business management in the delivery of more than $50 million annually in construction and service contracts. His role encompasses capital project delivery, procurement, real property management, environmental support services, and stakeholder engagement with multiple Department of National Defence Client-Partners.


Prior to his civilian career, Andrew completed a diverse military career with the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring after more than two decades of service. During this time, he held several senior leadership positions within construction and engineering settings. His experience includes domestic and international operational support, infrastructure planning, asset lifecycle management, safety and risk management, regulatory compliance, and workforce leadership across multiple regions and disciplines.


Andrew is actively engaged in his community and volunteers as a coach with his local youth swim club. He is passionate about advancing strong governance, collaboration, and innovation within the design and construction industry, and through his professional and volunteer roles, he is committed to supporting the continued growth and long-term success of Nova Scotia’s construction sector and the communities it serves.
