INDUSTRY CONSULTATION ON PUBLIC HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
BUILD NOVA SCOTIA
Build Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Department of Growth and Development, is leading the delivery of a range of housing solutions across the province. As part of this initiative, they are engaging with industry partners to explore practical construction methods and technologies that can support their vision for sustainable, efficient, and future-ready housing.
DCI Nova Scotia supports this endeavor and encourages all stakeholders within the design and construction industry to provide their valuable insight to not only ensure that this is a well delivered project, but to expedite more initiatives and models like this in the future.
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

Below are the slides and a recording of the first and second consultation sessions that were virtually held on June 11 and June 24. The first presentation provides the context for the project, what the goals are, and what timelines are being worked towards. The second presentation was a joint-initiative between Build Nova Scotia and DCI Nova Scotia where DCI brought key industry stakeholders to engage in the consultation. Once you have reviewed the slides and the discussions, fill out the questionnaire that was circulated afterwards and reach out to info@buildns.ca to inform them that you have completed it and would like to be included in memos and communications regarding this industry consultation and any other opportunities to provide feedback in the future.

The deadline to fill out the questionnaire is Friday July 4th.
